A drive along Van Dykes Drif off ramp from N4 and just off the R555, on a prepared gravel road is the path that Oom Barries took back in 1985 to Presidentsrus.
Known as God's Valley with its indigenous fauna and flora, it is 200 km from all major metropolitan areas (Pretoria ,Johannesburg, Nelspruit almost Polokwane).

Olifants River Lodge is situated between eMalahleni (Witbank) and Middelburg, on the R555.
There is a 12km gravel road from the Presidentsrus turn-off to the Lodge.
It is conveniently located within a 200km radius of Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Hazyview, Standerton, Nelspruit and the Kruger National Park.

Take the last, Middelburg West/van Dyksdrift off-ramp, just before Ultra City.
Turn left on the bridge to Middelburg and continue to a 4-way stop.
Turn left onto the R555 to eMalahleni and travel for approximately 6kms.
Turn right to Olifants River Lodge / Presidentsrus, approximately 12kms of
which the first 4.8kms are tarred and the remaining 7.2kms grave
